BowliciousBowlicious is moving!!! On Thursday, March 4th 2010, Hunter Valley Farms will be the new home for our annual Bowlicous fundraiser. Here, local potters will join forces with Second Harvest Food Bank to raise money for the hungry.

This extraordinary event showcases the best potters in the area who provide one-of-a-kind bowls to be used for dinner; plus, the potters will donate decorative items for auction. Event patrons purchase tickets to gain admission and a dinner bowl, along with viewing other auction pieces before dining.

"We are thrilled about being able to partner with the talented potters we have in our area," said Elaine Streno, Executive Director of Second Harvest. "This event speaks directly to our mission and will help us bring attention to the hundreds of thousands of East Tennesseans that live in poverty."

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail hour, including a silent auction, wine, and Vermont cheese provided by Cabot. Patrons will fill their bowls a choice of gourmet soups provided by Calhoun's, and enjoy a variety of breads and desserts.

Patrons get to take their bowls home at the end of the evening as a symbol of those who don't even have a bowl of soup to eat. Only 200 tickets are available for $50 per person.
