Volunteer
Below is a list of available shifts for the Irish Festival. Please contact John@secondharvestknox.org to sign up or if you have any questions.
- Set up: Saturday August 21 from 8 am – 11 am
- Moving equipment, setting up chairs, tables and displays (need 20 volunteers, check in at the stage)
- Event Shift A: 12-3 pm
- Gate volunteers- ticket collection (need 8 volunteers)
- Kids Zone- helping children on inflatable’s (need 4 volunteers)
- Soft Drink and Water sales (need 4 volunteers)
- Parking coordinator (need 4 volunteers)
- Event Shift B: 3-6 pm
- Gate volunteers- ticket collection (need 8 volunteers)
- Kids Zone- helping children on inflatable’s (need 4 volunteers)
- Soft Drink and Water sales (need 4 volunteers)
- Parking coordinator (need 4 volunteers)
- Event Shift C: 6-9 pm
- Gate volunteers- ticket collection (need 8 volunteers)
- Kids Zone- helping children on inflatable’s (need 4 volunteers)
- Soft Drink and Water sales (need 4 volunteers)
- Parking coordinator (need 4 volunteers)
- Tear Down: 9-11 pm
- Moving equipment, stacking tables and chairs, clean up (need 20 volunteers)
Please wear comfortable clothes, put on sunscreen and arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift. All volunteers receive complimentary tickets to the festival. The festival is on the lawn at the corner of 11th St. and Cumberland Ave, just across the street from the UT parking garage. Check in at the entrance tents.
