Lots of fun activities and entertainment will fill the day at the East Tennessee Irish Festival!

Schedule
1-2 pm: Opening Ceremonies, Pipe and Drum Band
2-3 pm: Drake & Claddaugh Schools of Irish Dance
3-4 pm: Early Morning String Dusters
4-5 pm: Fiddle Competition
5-6 pm:

Fiddle play off (top 3), tug of war finale, raffle

6-8 pm: Four Leaf Peat
8-10 pm: Cutthroat Shamrock

Ongoing activities
-Tug-of-War, bracketed competition 2-8 pm.

-Cornhole tournament, free throw from 1-4. Tournament 4-8.
-Raffle prizes almost every hour, main prize at 5:30.

-Dozens of food, drink, product, "green" and cultural vendors
-Wee Folk area for kids. 1-dark.

-Medieval competitions by Thor's Mountain

-Stilt walkers and festival entertainers

-Forge, glass blowing and wood carving demonstrations

 

Before the Irish Festival
The morning of the Irish Festival, dont forget to check out the Great Knoxville Rubber Duck Race at Volunteer Landing. This wonderful event ends before the opening ceremonies start at the Irish Festival. For more information please click here.
