Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee

Join us and saturate your senses in the sights, sounds, and tastes of our Celtic heritage at the third annual East Tennessee Irish Festival.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 1 pm with the marching of the Knoxville Pipe and Drum Band. The Grand Marshal will be crowned and the winner of the Times Cup will be announced.

ID's will be checked at the gate and bracelets will be given to those with a valid ID. Festival Mugs will be given to everyone participating in the Beer Garden.

Tug-of-War
Sign up for our tug-of-war bracketed competition.

The finale of the tug-of-war will be a contest between the local F.O.P and fire departments.

Fiddler Competition

Regional fiddlers will be competing to see who can burn up the strings in the play-off event. Area bluegrass and fiddle music schools will be judging the event.

Wee Folk area
Inflatable jungle gyms, face painting, ice cream, Fireman and Police vehicles and more will be available for kids. Remember kids aged 12 and under receive free admission. The area is located right next to the Worlds Fair fountains.

Cornhole (bean bag toss)Tournament
The tournament will begin at 3 pm. All teams must be present at 3 to receive their time slot for play. Tournament registration is $20 per team. Cash and restaurant prizes will be awarded. You may reserve a place for your team through . What is Corn Hole?

Think Green - Eco-friendly partners

Throughout the day, event sponsors representing local and regional eco-friendly businesses will be handing out information about "green" initiatives in East Tennessee. Sponsors will be showcasing home improvements, solar panels, fuel efficient vehicles and much more. For information on these sponsors please see the sponsor page.

Food and Cultural Vendors

Dozens of vendors will be present at the festival offering craft demonstrations, impromptu performances, savory foods of all kinds, Irish art pieces, traditional Celtic clothing, one of a kind jewelry and much more. For a full list of participating vendors, visit the vendor page.
