About Us SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF EAST TENNESSEE Second Harvest distributes food to roughly 155,000 hungry people every month through a network of Partner Agencies throughout East Tennessee. Agencies are non-profit organizations dedicated to feeding the hungry and include church pantries, shelters, group homes, local kitchens, after-school program sites, rehabilitation centers and many others. Without our support, many of our nearly 500 agencies would not be able to operate. Our agencies include organizations like KARM, FISH, The Love Kitchen, Salvation Army and hundreds of others. Second Harvest is audited annually and spends 4% of our budget on administrative expenses, 5% on fundraising and 91% on operating our hunger-relief programs. Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee is part of a national network of foodbanks called Feeding America. Feeding America members cover every county in America. Second Harvest of East Tennessee serves 18 counties in East Tennessee, delivering food as far west as Crossville and as far East as Gatlinburg.
